Redbridge Education Awards
Redbridge local authority are organising the first REA ceremony for April.  We are happy to confirm the following nominations for our school:
John Pettifer has been recognised for a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the school as our Chairman.  His excellent support to the school has been acknowledged, though his nomination is not progressing to the finals.  It is a great satisfaction though that he has been awarded a certificate to mark his justifiable nomination.
Our NIPA project is made up of many professionals and is impacting on a significant number of vulnerable children and their families.  This initiative, spearheaded by Dan, is delivered by many professionals in the Early Year and SEND teams, with full support from SLT and Governors.  We are delighted that this outstanding initiative is being recognized and will feature in the finalists at the award ceremony.
We will share with you the results of the ceremony as soon as possible.

FSM for KS2
Recent announcements from the London Mayor for funding universal free school meals for all KS2 pupils as of September 2023 were shared this week.  We await details of how this will impact our provision. The announcement was shared in the media though it is significant that no direct communication has been received by the school.
