We are looking forward to welcoming ALL children back to school on Wednesday 4th September. Please note the following information:
New term dates and timings:
• Monday 2nd September – school closed for staff training• Tuesday 3rd September - school closed for staff training
• Wednesday 4th September – start of term, children return at the usual times
Where to go in September
Children from Years 1-6 need to enter the gate on their own and parents should say goodbye at the gate.
New Year One classes – their entrance is in Gants Hill Crescent opposite Sunnymede Drive.
New Year Two classes – their entrance is the west gate in Gants Hill Crescent.
New Year Three classes – their entrance is the east gate in Gants Hill Crescent.
New Year Four classes – their entrance is the east gate in Gants Hill Crescent.
New Year Five classes – their entrance is either gate on the main playground in Gants Hill Crescent.
New Year Six classes – their entrance is either gate on the main playground in Gants Hill Crescent.
New Reception classes - should enter through the Reception gates between 8:40-9:00am. They are to be collected by 11:45am for this week.
Nursery children will be starting on Monday 9th September and timings will be sent in a separate message.
Please note that all gates open from 8:40am and close at 9:00am.
All KS2 classes start at 8:50am.
Reception, Year One and Year two classes start at 9:00am.

All children should be brought to school at the correct gate, at the correct time. All gates are supervised by members of SLT. Once through the gates, children will be guided to enter the school building by the correct entrance by members of staff who will be on hand to ensure they all get to the correct classroom on time.
Please be punctual both at the start and end of the day. Please leave plenty of time for your journey and remember that School Streets will be operational, therefore cars should not drive in the exclusion zone around the school. If you do, motorists will be issued with a penalty notice.
End of the school day collection timings:
Year One and Year Two classes go home at 3.30pm.
Years Three, Four, Five and Six go home at 3.20pm
Year One and Year Two classes go home at 3.30pm.
Years Three, Four, Five and Six go home at 3.20pm
From 23rd September Reception classes will go home at 3.30pm.
