Safeguarding update

The school has a very effective safeguarding team whose duty is to co-ordinate appropriate responses to concerns raised.  Details can be found on the school website.  The primary responsibility of the school is to protect children on roll, their safety and well-being is always paramount.  We have a responsibility to follow all concerns and allegations whenever they are received.  Sometimes it is necessary to challenge parents directly with details of allegations.  It is the school's legal duty to follow any disclosure to gather more information before making decisions on action.  More details of the process can be found in our current Safeguarding policy, also available on our website.  Please be ware all conversations will be confidential, as will all information gathered from such investigations.  This process is in line with nationally recognised best practice.
