During the course of this school year you will be invited to meet with teachers online, using Zoom, for sharing information about your child's learning and progress. We have published the school's existing guidelines of appropriate conduct at such meetings. Please read them and follow the detail.
• Please ensure your camera and microphone are turned on and working. Callers without video on will not be admitted to the meeting.
• Choose a space with a simple and plain background.
• Do not sit in front of a window. This will cast a dark shadow on your image.
• Make certain there is plenty of light in the room so you can be seen clearly.
• The space where you are seated needs to be as quiet as possible so you can hear the audio clearly and see the image on the screen. There should be no other distractions.
• Please sign in with your child’s name, ensure you change any generic online label (Samsung 1) to a personal name
• Please attend the meeting 5 minutes early and await the teacher to admit you to the meeting
• Please be aware all official Zoom meetings are recorded on our server for security reasons and will be deleted at the end of one month.
• Our termly consultation meetings are set to last 10 minutes
• All conversations will be polite
• When the meeting is finished the teacher will close the connection to your device
