We will shortly be publishing a statement for parents with a definition of our remote learning provision. This will include, for each year group the following information:
1. What will teachers be teaching by Video Conferencing - content, frequency, duration, methodology, platforms?
2. What other online content will we be offering to support independent learning?
3. How much time do we expect children to spend learning at home each day?
4. How will children access the remote learning offered?
5. How will teachers be offering feedback?
6. How can a parent ask for support?
In addition we will be providing the following information about whole school remote learning:
1. What support do we offer if a child does not have online access at home?
2. Our expectations for parental support
3. What support are we offering for children with additional needs?
4. Our expectations of children who are self-isolating
This should be published by the end of this week at the latest, sooner if possible.
Please be aware that the live online lessons taught by the teachers will begin on Monday afternoons and continue during Tuesday to Friday. Details for exact timings should be published by the class teachers on a message using SchoolPing.
In-school lessons are following the previously published timetable - see the earlier blog entry on January 5th.
