The arrangements for this term’s Parents’ evenings are as follows:
Monday 20th October 2014 – 3.30 to 5.00pm – Class S and Class T
Tuesday 21st October 2014 – 3.30 to 5.00pm – Class S and Class T
Wednesday 22nd October – 3.30 to 8.00pm - all other classes (except class S, class T and the Nursery)
Wednesday 12th November – 3.30 to 5.00pm - all classes (except the Nursery)
Class Teachers will be available in their classrooms on the above dates to talk about how children have settled in since the beginning of term, their progress and ways forward.
Please speak to your child’s class teacher to book an appointment.
As the children in the Nursery classes have only just settled in, we will be holding the Nursery Consultations later in the term, when a more meaningful discussion can take place. News of this date will be communicated to you as soon as possible
Parents and carers are urged to meet with their children’s teachers during these evenings. The children’s progress to date will be shared and their current learning objectives discussed. Your child’s education is a partnership between home and school. Communication of information is very important to ensure we work together for your child’s success in school. The most successful learners are those who are supported by their parents at home.
Mr Drew, the Head Teacher, the two Deputy Heads, Mrs Tomlinson and Mr Lea, and Ms Billen our Ethnic Minorities Co-ordinator will also be available for a discussion.
We look forward to seeing you on one of these dates.
