Parking offences in the neighbouring roads

It has been brought to my attention that some parents have been parking inconsiderately in the neighbouring roads when bring children to school and also collecting them.  I have been sent reports from our neighbours in Gants Hill Crescent that a number of drivers have been parking either in or across driveways and preventing residents from getting in or out of their houses.  When challenged, some drivers have also been very rude indeed.  I would appeal to everyone to respect the highway code and to be polite to the school's neighbours.  Such behaviour is a very bad example to set in front of children and also breaches the highway code.  If I receive registration numbers of offending cars, I will be passing them onto the council's parking enforcement team who may issue a fine.  Please be a considerate driver and respect other people, consider walking to school or finding a more appropriate place to park your car if you must use it each day.
