Dear parents,
As you will be aware, Mr Drew will be leaving our school at the end of the summer term, to enjoy a very well-earned retirement!
I mentioned in my last letter to you that we were putting in hand the process necessary to identify and appoint a successor, to lead Gearies into the future. The appointment process has now been completed, and I am delighted to inform you that at its meeting on 21st March, the Board of Governors accepted the recommendation of the appointment panel and appointed the present deputies Dan Lea and Alex Dias as co-headteachers, effective from September this year.
