The conflict in Gaza

 The current conflict in Gaza is an event that stirs up high emotions in many people including in our school community.  

The school cannot and will not express any opinion or support for either side but does recognize that many thousands of innocent civilians on both sides have been injured or killed, that in itself is a disaster, and our thoughts go to the many families who are suffering loss and bereavement. 

We hope for a peaceful end to this conflict as soon as possible.  The topic has not yet been brought up by the many children in the school, however we will endeavour to respond to comments and questions with a balanced response.
