A wonderful week in school
Our annual Sports Week events in Claybury park were enjoyed by children and parents alike. Our thanks to Mr Cross and Ms Cotton for such excellent organization and ensuring everything went off so smoothly. A big well done also to all the Sports Leaders who were impressive in their confidence and enthusiasm.
At the same time our Reception classes held their first ever Sports days. The children and parents engaged with the activities with enthusiasm and both days were managed really well by the Reception team. Well done, a really special addition to our calendar
On Thursday we held our annual Pettifer Family Awards in the Infant hall, celebrating children’s learning achievements. This was really well attended and all the children were praised for their special skills. Well done to Mrs Kilbey-Holmes for managing the process so well on the day, with help from Miss Khalid over the year. Our School Council representatives were outstanding in their support, and a big thank you to the Y5 and Y6 School Choir for their performance.
