Term dates 2023-2024
There was an error in our previously published list of term dates for next academic year. The February half term is in fact taking place between 19th and 23rd February 2024. We apologise if this has caused any inconvenience.
As part of the government’s planning for a rollout of a new UK-wide emergency alerts system, the first national test will take place at 3pm on Sunday 23 April. A message will be received on 4G and 5G mobile phones, along with sound and vibration for up to 10 seconds. Once up and running properly, the emergency alerts system will send alerts to mobile phones when there is a danger to life in the local area. Alerts will cover severe flooding, fires, extreme weather and public health emergencies.
Early Years alphabet formation
Please note that the Early Years classes will now be following the attached letter formation style.
Children will continue to use this in Year One until their pencil control is sufficient for them to be introduced to our cursive letter style. By the start of year two, all children will be taught the cursive script.Staff news
Congratulations to Mr Nobeebaccus who successfully completed an FA Football coaching course over Easter and has been awarded certificates to match his training.
