Christmas "Love in a Box" appeal
Any child bringing in a “Love in a Box” charity donation should do so by the deadline of 9th November. They will all be collected on that date. Any box fees will be paid for you so do not worry about that detail. Boxes should be brought along to the school office when ready.
Sue Whiteson – author visit
We were delighted to host a two day visit by a local author Sue Whiteson on 17th and 18th October. She visited the Reception, year one and year two classes and introduced them to her new book “Hector the Hedgehog”. All classes thoroughly enjoyed her energetic presentations, we were very grateful for these visits. Copies of the book can be bought from Amazon or your local bookshop.
School Games Mark award
We were recently awarded the Bronze flag for our work supporting school games and sport, as part of the School Games Mark scheme. We aim to improve on that in the current year as we will be taking part in many more sporting opportunities off site with other schools.
