January 2022 Newsletter

Spring term dates:

• Tuesday 4th January – children return to school at the usual times

• Thursday 6th January – flu vaccinations 

• Week beginning 10th January – cycle training 

• Friday 21st January - Class show-and-tell assemblies by class 1D, 3A and 5B.  These will be filmed and broadcast on the year group blogs afterwards.

• Friday 11th February – last day before half term, school closes at the usual times.  Non-uniform reward for classes winning this half term’s attendance awards (announced on 10th February).

• Week beginning 14th February – half term holiday

• Monday 21st February – school closed for teacher training (INSET day)

• Tuesday 22nd February – children return to school

• Friday 25th February - Class show-and-tell assemblies by class 2A, 4A and 6A.  These will be filmed and broadcast on the year group blogs afterwards.

• Thursday 3rd March – World Book Day

• Week beginning 8th March – Book Fayre

• Friday 25th March - Class show-and-tell assemblies by class 1C, 3C and 5A.  These will be filmed and broadcast on the year group blogs afterwards.

• Friday 1st April – last day of term, we close at the usual times.  Non-uniform reward for classes winning this half term’s attendance awards (announced on 31st March).

• Monday 18th April – Bank holiday – school closed

• Tuesday 19th April 2022 – start of the summer term - children return to school at the usual times.

The dates of the Spring term virtual consultations and the publication of the spring term pupil reports will be announced shortly.
