- Donation by the Mitchell family – a very grateful donation of £200 has just been received by the school from the Mitchell family. This will be used to buy more books.
- Alternative Bank holiday – schools will be able to set their own date for a replacement for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee bank holiday, which will happen in the summer half term holiday. We will be proposing Monday 20th June. The date will be requested at the next Governor meeting in December. If this is agreed, a confirmation will be issued as soon as possible.
- Covid updates - much has already been shared with you on SchoolPing relating to current transmissions. It only remains to confirm we are reporting an average of 2 new cases per day across the school. These are predominantly from contact outside of school. We have yet to trigger the Threshold for our Emergency plan in any class. Our school is experiencing an average rate of exposure in Redbridge, some schools have very little transmission and others have been hit hard. Please help us to manage the cases in the school by taking immediate action if you or your child exhibits symptoms - go and get a PCR test from the testing station and stay isolated until the results are confirmed. We can only help contain the spread of the virus if our information is up to date. Please be aware that many absences in the school are merely seasonal ailments, particularly a flu-like illness, which is very common at the moment. Staff and children are likewise affected and take time to recover.
