On Friday 19thth November it is Children In Need and Day Glow Day. We are going to mark the occasions by coming into school wearing something really bright (this could be clothes or accessories you may have).
Day Glow Day promotes being bright and being seen when they are out and about by making them more visible to drivers especially during the winter months. We are hoping Day Glow Day will capture their imaginations and that they will turn up at school positively shining – in fact the brighter the better. They can also brighten their bike or sparkle their scooter so that they can be seen more easily on the road when travelling to school.
This year’s Children In Need theme is ‘feel good Friday’. We want the children to feel good every day and to come into school with their best and brightest clothes. All the children love celebrating Children In Need and teachers across the school plan for a whole day of fun learning. Each child will bring in £1 which will be donated to the charity and will go towards many amazing causes.
There will be a prize for one person in each year group which will go to the person wearing the brightest outfit.
Thank you for your continued support.
