Smart watches
We are happy to encourage children to wear wrist watches in school to tell the time however it is not appropriate for them to wear smart watches into school. Most of these devices can either send and/or receive text messages and photos, these functions pose threats to our ability to safeguard children, therefore we must insist they do not wear them in school. If a child does wear one to school, the class teacher will remove it, give it back to the parent at the end of the day explaining the reasons for their actions. Please help us to keep the school as safe as possible by supporting us in this action.
Book bags and backpacks
Please ensure children use an official school book bag to carry books in, please do not put school books in a backpack. We are encouraging children not to bring in backpacks to school as they often push children's coats off their pegs, some packs can be very large.
