Our next school training day is scheduled for Wednesday 15th September. Our usual practice is to organise INSET days for beginnings or ends of weeks, to make life easy for parents. We apologise for any inconvenience for the midweek date.
The reason why it is a Wednesday is that we are using a private consultant to deliver teacher training for us and this was the only available date he could do. It is not unusual for schools to hold midweek training for just this reason, though it is true we have not had to do this so far. We also announced the date back in July, we have given the community plenty of notice of this date.
We hope you are understanding of the reasons for this decision and are sorry if it has posed a childcare challenge for any of you.
