Review of the year: 2020-2021

 A year like no other

We bid farewell to the current academic year, a year indeed like no other.  The challenges to our school community have been many and most very serious, however collectively we have overcome each and every one and we close the year on a high.  Together we have supported each other and the children in particular.  We have met wellbeing needs, learning needs and offered support to the most vulnerable.

As a professional learning community, we have innovated endlessly and reinvented the school numerous times.  We have learnt so much and will embed many of the best learning into the new school year.  Although the year has been incredibly challenging it would be fair to say we have had a very successful year.  We did this together and each and every member of the school community should be proud of the part you played, no matter how big or small, every part has helped.  We should be proud of this year, we have been called upon to be creative, caring, resilient and brave.  We have risen to the challenges each and every time.

My deepest thanks to all the members of staff for being so amazing, and an enormous thank you to parents and carers for your support over the year, it has not been easy.
