Summer term dates:
• Friday 16th July – Year Six leavers’ assembly – this will be broadcast inside the school in the afternoon. The recording will be posted on the year group blog afterwards, so if parents wish to watch it they can do so.
• Last day of term for the children – Tuesday 20th July, we will close at the usual times. This is not a non-uniform day.
• Children return to school for the beginning of the new school year on Friday 3rd September. The next newsletter for the autumn term will be published before we return to school, including dates and any other organised events.
All dates are subject to change – please see news on the School Blog
Parents need to contact the school office to confirm if their child is staying off school to celebrate Eid.
No special events are planned for the last week, all class celebrations will take place in the week beginning 12th July.
All children should remember to take their PE kit home before the last day of term.
Farewell to Year Six
The last day of term will be our last day with the year six children. We wish them all good luck for their futures and hope they have a successful transition to their secondary schools.
Where to go in September
All children should be brought to school at the correct gate, at the correct time. Please be punctual both at the start and end of the day.
Children currently in Reception classes need to report to the East gate in Gants Hill Crescent.
Children currently in Year One classes need to report to the West gate in Gants Hill Crescent.
Children currently in Year Two classes need to report to the East gate in Gants Hill Crescent.
Children currently in Year Three classes need to report to the East gate in Gants Hill Crescent.

School times for next year
Arrangements for the start of the school day will stay as they are now. School gates will be open at 8:40am, each gate is supervised by a member of SLT for enquiries. Children need to enter on their own, parents should say goodbye at the gate. The gates will close shortly after 9am.
Reception, Year One and Year two classes start at 9:00am.
All KS2 classes start at 8:50am.
Nursery session hours remain unchanged.
The end of the school day for all classes except the Nursery is 3:15pm. Classes will be brought into the playground for 3:15pm in their present lining up locations. Class teachers are available for sharing information at that point.
