Exit from Lockdown
We look forward to welcoming all the children back to school on Monday morning next week. It has been a long and blue start to the calendar year, it will be great to return to in-person teaching once more.
Donation to Mitchell Library
We were delighted to receive another generous donation of £100.00 from the Mitchell family for books to fill our library. They have our thanks for the donation and we look forward to buying more books soon.
Latest Food Hygiene Rating
The school kitchen was awarded the top 5 star rating by a Food Standards Agency inspector today. Well done to the team for maintaining our high standards, the certificate will be posted on our front door tomorrow.

Some good news: we know that the Covid infection rate in Redbridge has continued to drop since the last report. The LA is currently 14th on the list of London boroughs, a big improvement, you will recall we were 2nd on 12th January. No borough ward has over 200 cases per 100,000, which approaches earlier low rates from last year.
You may also have read about the LA’s earlier recommendation to Primary schools that all primary age children should wear face masks when in school. This advice has now been retracted, we are happy to confirm that will not be asking our children to do this from Monday.
