The Prime Minister made a special address to the nation yesterday to share details of the new Lockdown regulations. Please consult your preferred media outlet for full details of how this applies to you and your family. It is now clear that school Lockdown will now last until half term at least. Published arrangements for In-school lessons and remote learning will continue to be in place up to that point.
As communicated yesterday, demand for School places was very high. We are now not able to take any more requests.
School timings:
Children should enter the school site using their usual gate entrances. Doors will be open from 8:40 to 8:50. Late arrivals need to go to the main school office.
We are expecting to offer a hot school meal provision for children on site, as usual.
The end of the day will be 3pm, using our existing exit arrangements. Playground gates will be closed at 3:10pm, late collections can be collected from the school office.
Classrooms being used this week: Nursery, RB, 1A, 2B, 3D, 4A, 5A, 6B. Please ensure you pass on these details to your child if they are attending daycare.
Our usual safety measures will continue (class bubble separation, handwashing, sanitising hands, social distancing, mask wearing by staff), these are being enhanced in Y2 to Y6 by work stations being placed 2m apart.
Daycare will be pretty much the usual learning offer we would have been covering anyway, most lessons will continue to be delivered throughout the week. There is the emphasis on our usual curriculum coverage, wherever possible.
I wish and your families good luck in managing the new situation, we will do all we can to support the children's learning as best we can. Please be aware some support will be interrupted when colleagues get ill, 8 colleagues are currently infected with Covid-19 and recovering at home, therefore unable to work.
Stay safe and take care!
