End of term full attendance certificates were awarded to 66 children this week for full attendance and no lateness up to last Friday. An amazing achievement all things considered, well done to each child who was awarded a certificate.
Year Two Phonics Screening Checks were completed this week, well done Miss Fan on completing the mammoth task with all the children. 82% of the children successfully passed the check, another amazing achievement given the circumstances, and a wonderful testament to the hard work of last year's Y1 team and this year's Y2 team on very effective teaching.
We recently installed a commemorative plaque in the Dance Hall dedicated to the memory of Mrs Guns, former governor of the school, who sadly passed away last year. We had planned a dedication ceremony earlier in the year, but have been unable to do this due to the pandemic restrictions.
