Do you drive your child to school?
We have observed a lot of congestion outside the school around 8:50am and 3:10pm. Some driving habits pose hazards to the children walking to school. If you drive your child to school, please:
- Reconsider your choice - could you walk instead or use a bike?
- If you have to drive here, please do not drive down Gants Hill Crescent, park in a neighbouring road or use the RIAE car park and walk the rest of the way
- If you do drive down Gants Hill Crescent, please do not park on the pavement, drive on the pavement or attempt to do 3 point turns by mounting the pavement. This is likely to cause an accident.
- Please consider travelling to school before 9:50 or later than 3:10, when the traffic is most congested.
Help us to keep the roads safe for our children!
Safe travel on the way to school
Please remember, on your journey to school, to wear a face mask and to keep 2m distance from other adults around you. Help prevent the virus spreading further, we don't want to risk and child contracting Covid-19.
