Stay safe

We are aware that the local transmission rate of coronavirus doubles every five days at the moment.  This is alarmingly high, help us to stop the spread around the children by:

  • always wear a mask when you come to school
  • remain 2m distanced from the other adults around the school
  • don't visit other households during the half term holiday
Cars in Gantshill Crescent

Please consider if your car journey to school is essential and only travel here if you have to, consider walking or cycling whenever possible.  If you do drive down Gantshill Crescent, remember this is the busiest road around he school and the road most children cross to get here in the morning.
  • Please don't park on the pavements - this is a hazard for anyone on the pavement and is both selfish and dangerous
  • please avoid making three point turns in the road outside the school - this is unnecessary and also quite dangerous if you mount the pavement when completing the manoeuvre.
Our curriculum after half term

Most year groups are now ready to deliver our full curriculum after term, now our revision classes are complete.  All teacher assessments have been completed and the differentiation will now be better matched to the identified needs of each child.  The results of the latest assessments will be shared with parents at the upcoming consultation sessions, please remember to book an appointment on 2nd November.

Birthday celebrations

Please remember school policy is that we cannot accept gifts of food to give our for children when it is their birthday.  This includes sweets, chocolate and cake.  Parents can, if they wish, send in small gift presents instead, however at the moment all gifts need to be isolated for at least 48 hours before giving them out to ensure they will not accidentally infect anyone.
