First week back at school

 Please note that all children should return to school at the following times on Thursday 3rd September:

Classes in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 start at 8:50am.  Our gates will be open from 8:40am for the children to enter the school.  Parents are not allowed on site and must say farewell before parting at the gates.

Classes in Years 1 and 2 start at 9:00am

Mr Drew and Mrs Dias will be positioned at these gates to help welcome everyone back.

The attached map shows which gate the children should use to enter the school by as well as the location of their lining up spaces at the end of the day.  Parents are welcome to come to the line across the playground indicated on the map, but must not cross this, to keep distanced from the members of staff.  

Before the children get to school parents are advised to remind them who their class teacher is and the name of their new class.  This will help them find their way quickly into the school.  

Children can either bring a packed lunch to school or order a school dinner.  School dinners for the first two weeks will be a packed lunch option until we are ready to organise the cooking and serving of hot meals on site.  News on the arrangements for hot meals will be shared during week two.  Please be patient and await further news on this decision.  

The end of the school day for all classes in 3:15pm.  Parents need to be in the playground at the indicated locations to collect their children.  Please allow the teachers time to release children one at a time and be patient with teachers while they get to know you in the first weeks.
