Snow update

It is Sunday afternoon and it continues to snow in Gants Hill.  We are aware that many parents and carers will be wanting to know if the school will be open on Monday, especially if the weather continues.

It is school policy to stay open at all times unless our heating breaks down (unlikely as the system is only a few years old) or staff cannot get in.We will keep you posted with news on the blog early in the morning and text messages to registered phone numbers.

It would be wise to assume we are open unless you hear otherwise.

We hope you and your families are enjoying this rare weather, please take all precautions to stay safe.

We cannot advise you on whether the journey to school will pose substantial risks to you and your families, you will need to make your own judgement on this matter.  If you feel you are unable to get your children to school safely tomorrow morning, the roads and pavements may be iced over or especially slippery, please contact the school office.  We are though most likely going to be open to receive all who make the journey.  Please stay safe.
