"Fitness for all" workouts at playtimes

As from 6th February, the teachers will be leading all the children in a short 5 minute workout at the end of each playtime to help keep the children fit and healthy.  The workout sequence consists of 10 moves lasting 30 seconds each.


  1. Star jumps
  2. Side steps (arms up and down)
  3. Marching on the spot
  4. Touching opposite toes
  5. Jogging
  6. Swimming (forwards and backwards)
  7. Hopping
  8. Squats
  9. Ski moves
  10. Balance
