Bringing children to school

Please be aware that it is parents' responsibility to supervise their children before school starts.  All children should be brought to school and fully accompanied in the playground until the teacher takes responsibility for them at the official start to the school day.  The only exception to this is for children in year six, who may bring themselves to school if a letter has been received from his/her parents.

Sending a child to school on their own or leaving them in the playground unaccompanied may be treated as a safeguarding matter, as they are being potentially put in danger.
