We have been entered into several educational competitions recently; we have achieved mixed success.
Our Y6 team that entered the "Apps for Good" national finals, with their "Destination You" proposal, unfortunately were not successful, however the experience was wonderful and everyone learnt so much on the day. The children represented the school superbly well and we are really proud of their fantastic performance.
We have just found out the Y2 classes' entry for the "Time Explorers Challenge" organised with the Historic Royal Palaces has won, beating off over 60 schools from around London. Well done on a great achievement in this History project. The classes are now in the process of claiming their prize of free workshops at Kensington Palace.
Our hockey team was also in action on Tuesday, taking part in the hockey competition organised by the Gants Hill Partnership, and remain unbeaten in the tournament. They were eventual winners in glorious style in the finals; all team members received medals for their well deserved victory. We are also proud of how the children represented the school and played so well.
