School Awards

Team London
We are really proud to announce the school has been recognised for its community work this year with two special awards. We have won the “Team London Schools Award – My Community”, an amazing achievement.  Over 70 schools from across London were nominated for the Team London Awards and only 6 were announced as winners.  This award is in recognition for our “inspirational social action projects” over the year.  These included the projects to reduce food waste in school, support for the local Food Bank, book recycling and work on our Cultural Charter.  Our thanks go to Mr Lea, Ms Holmes and Mr Drew Jnr. for leading on these projects with our Cultural Trust and the Woodbine Centre, amongst others.

In addition to this, we have also been awarded a certificate of appreciation from the “Free the Children UK” team, in liaison with the London Mayor’s office for these inspirational social action projects.  Special mention was given to Mr Lea from Alysha Rama, their project co-ordinator for his outstanding leadership in this field.
