News from Barton Manor - Wednesday update!

World Records and Birthday Cake.

When walking across the fields this morning, two teachers from two different schools stopped us to praise the children on their wonderful behaviour and to commend the children on how much they seem to be enjoying each of their challenges, this obviously started the day off in a great way. Today has been just as action packed, we have been engaged in raft building, fire starting, team games, tower building, challenge course conquering and we have also been busy setting new Barton Hall records!
Yes that's right, two of our children with the help of their team, smashed the centres existing record of 12 crates by building, balancing and standing on a tower of 14 crates!
Although at time the weather has been wild and wet, the children's resolve to enjoy each and every moment has been unfaltering and while I write this note I am watching them play a range of sporting games in the evening sun with the picturesque Torquay coastline framing a great view.
I know some people have asked for more picture, do not worry, each day we are capturing as much as we can, I am up to 200+ images alone and I know each team member is also filling their memory cards with great pictures. We will be making a cd/dvd when we return.

Last but not least, happy birthday Pawanpreet!
